’m Justine — a mama to Evelynn + Emery, my absolute everything. When I’m not behind my camera, you’ll usually find me thrift shopping, hiking, going to the beach, decorating my home, creating art, cooking, baking, shopping, or planning something fun for Halloween. I love both the slow, lazy days and the busy, productive ones — especially when they’re spent with my kids. I picked up my very first camera in high school back in 2007, and I truly never stopped clicking. What started as a love for capturing everyday life quickly became a passion for telling real, beautiful stories through photographs.
My favorite part of a session is watching people simply be themselves — laughing, playing, snuggling, chasing their little ones, and enjoying each other. I’m always looking for those little in-between moments that you may not even realize are happening. Those are often the photographs that become your favorites.
And if you're worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera… don't be! I’ll guide you through the entire session, pose you when needed, give you prompts, and tell you exactly what to do. My goal is for you to relax, have fun, and actually enjoy being photographed. ✨
I’m a huge lover of all things nostalgic and whimsical, which definitely makes its way into my work. During my annual mini sessions, you’ll often find Christmas & Disney music playing, lots of yummy treats, and little details designed to make your session feel like a memory in itself. I absolutely love the Pacific Northwest and exploring new places, but I also love traveling wherever a beautiful story takes me. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph destination weddings in Maui, Mexico, and along the Oregon + Washington Coasts.
Photography has always felt like a way of holding onto something that can never happen exactly the same way twice. A laugh, a tiny hand, the way your child looks at you, the people you love gathered together — those moments are irreplaceable.
